2011 - 2012 Season

The first production this season is the poignant drama of the young Jewish girl who left her mark on the world by simply writing in her diary. David Giese directs the Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett adaptation of that Dutch girl's writing, THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK, and will present it to our patrons on December 2 - 10, 2011.

Of course we will close the year out with our ever popular, annual year-end treat, AN EVENING OF IMPROV (Instant Comedy - Just Add Spam), including the four evenings of workshops for all you budding Robin Williams and Whoopi Goldbergs to hone your improvisation skills and learn to think on your feet, with experienced direction from Tom LaVille. This is always great fun, whether you're on our stage looking out at the audience, or in the audience, looking (and laughing) at what's happening on the stage. The workshops will be conducted on December 26 - 29 and the public performances are scheduled for December 30 and 31, 2011.

Our first show of 2012 is a comedy often referred to as Hitchcock meets hilarious. You simply mix an Alfred Hitchcock masterpiece with a juicy spy novel, add a dash of Monty Python, and you have the fast-paced whodunit titled THE 39 STEPS adapted by Patrick Barlow. Director Rick Gooding will present this show February 24 through March 3, 2012.

Karen Roessler will direct a day in the life of all your favorite Peanuts characters with the Clark Gesner musical comedy YOU'RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN.  Make plans to experience this show, running April 13 - 21, 2012.

For the final show of our regular season, we will be bringing you the always popular GALA musical review. As yet, this season's theme and director have not been named, but whether you're in our audience, or on our stage, this is fun for the whole family. The play dates for this locally created extravaganza are scheduled for June 7 - 10, 2012.

We invite you to come and experience live theatre at its finest, whether on our stage, behind the scenes, or in our audiences. Live theatre is a great way to meet new people, have lots of fun, and express yourself creatively. See you at the theatre!
